K.B. Special Eye Security (Kouga Business Special Eye Security Guards) was registered and started by J.Z. du Plessis who had 27 years of Police/Security experience on 29 November 2004.

At first the market was tested in order to get the "feel" of the market. The business was 'then' mainly advertised by "word of mouth" to test viability.

Clients started spreading the brand name "K.B. Special Eye" because of satisfaction with service while at the same time the company was going through some growing pains.

The Company started growing slowly and steadily at first but really started to grow more rapidly in December 2005.

In April 2006 a Close Corporation was registered with members J.Z. du Plessis and W. Malgas, when Willem Malgas bought a 50% share of the "Kouga Business Special Eye Security Guards" from J.Z. du Plessis. From there the company experienced phenomenal growth. Some of the attributing factors were:

Their attention has now also shifted to training as well, where our own workforce as well as these of customers in need of this service is trained.

·	The newly formed Close Corporation had a ripple effect
·	An oral agreement with "AHEAD" (well established existing Alarm and Security Company) to take over the existing guarding sites and in return K.B. Special Eye would refer all clients in want of alarm systems to them.
·	The company was also added to the database of the Kouga Municipality, Cacadu District Municipality, Department's of Social Development, Social Security, Justice, Health, Office of the Premier and ASGISA-EC.

·	Specialising in guarding and training only (Supervisors are there for the guards only).
·	Deliver an incomparable service concerning industrial / commercial / retail / other public places e.g. resorts / events - private or seasonal safeguarding resorts, where and whenever safeguarding may be needed.
·	Creating of jobs having the previous disadvantaged, in mind that will be trained.
·	Protect customers' assets and personnel against criminal elements so that they can give full attention in operating their businesses / companies / firms etc.
·	Act in an ethical, professional and responsible way adhering to the law, while fulfilling duties in order to assist other security companies and even to be of help to the SA Police service of the country in order to create a "PEACE OF MIND" - REGARDING SAFETY AND SECURITY IN ALL WORKPLACES AND COMMUNITIES in South Africa.

·	To be much more effective and aggressive in advertising services
·	Re-structure the business in such a way that services can be rendered on a franchise basis countrywide.
